I use one pillow which is purposely made to help breathing if you have a seizure while sleeping.
It's called breathe-zy anti suffocation epilepsy pillow

Pillows are really made too keep your head aliined in the postion it is with the spine it has a curve at the neck so a pillow keeps it in that postion but people move at night so pillows are more comfort than needed now

I sleep with two pillows. one is very soft and the other one is a little firmer. I have always slept with two pillows even before I have the seizures. I just cannot sleep flat. One day I hope I can buy the Sleep Number bed so I can sleep on my back in a almost sit up position.
