Do Others Experience The Amount Of Seizures Increases Closer To Their Menstral Cycles?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

It seems as though I am getting more seizures and disconnection from my body to brain during week three approaching my period. Does anybody experience this also and is there a way to monitor/track hormone levels?

Hormones play a big part in our epilepsy... Epilepsy can be brought on only during the menstrual cycle... Speak to your doctor or neurologist in this regard. It all depends on oestrogen and femal hormones.

Yes. It seems like the first day or two I have been seizing. Mine also come more frequently than most. I never get much of a break.
