Does Any One Else Have These And What Does Your Doctor Call Them?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband gets these and so do i from time to time
A part of the body goes numb usually starts at thw fingers or toes and ends up working its way up to the face then we (who ever is getting it) gets a bad migrain. Mine doesnt go away for days. Some doctors call this a migrain seizure others call it a migrain with an aura.

From what you’re describing it sounds like a Jacksonian Seizure and as it works it’s way up it’s called “The Jacksonian March”. Sometimes it manifest itself as a partial complex seizure (auras, migraines, etc), others will be a generalized seizure.
