Is This Strange During The Postdictal Stage After A Seizure?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have found myself on odd occurances not being able to talk like my tounge just refuses to function. I know what i want to say but cant get it from my head to my mouth. However, sometimes i have been able to write what i want to say, type it or on occation try and sign it...mind you i cant sign very well i only know barely the basic’s but i still try. Has anyone ever had that happen or is it strange for that to happen?

All the time... It gets very frustrating. Here lately I've even been having trouble writing my signature... Can't lie it does worry me that one day I'll forget what my signature looks like, even though I'm constantly signing some kind of paper work.

That's so frustrating!I find I sometimes start to stutter, and never had until the past few years of seizure activity! Embarrassing!😇
