Bruising

Ive bern on 750mg keppra twice a day for around 2 years with no symptoms for the last 4 weeks ive been on 1500mg twice a day now ive noticed some bruising is this from the medication i had a seizure on monday but didnt injure myself?

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member what about vitamins and/or diets? or stress? stress can cause a lot of things including bumps and bruises.

Read about side effects of the medications. But I would suggest to go to your doctor and tell them

bruising is not listed as a side effect BUT as with any drugs, IF YOU ARE CONCERNED do not hesitate to show your Dr, Have a great day from DOWN UNDER

I was on keppra in school last year and I would get bruises from my seizures or getting mad

I don't think there is any medication that doesn't have some sort of side effect. Keppra has lots unfortunately (also our cat seems to think my blood tastes nicer with me taking keppra!)
