Sometimes, they will just give u a loading dose. A loading dose is to get up to a therapeutic level which you were at before. But im not sure if newer meds work that way, either way all will b fine.

It honestly depends on the meds, your dosage and how low your levels are. I take tegretol and keppra. Tegretol 500mg at night and keppra 2xs a day at 500mg each. If my levels are low it takes about 2 weeks for mine to get back to normal.

last seizure i was upgrade on my Keppra 1000 mg take extra 250 mg 1 morning at night. My mother in law thing that they are giving me to much. Plus i am taken topmax 200mg 3 tables at night. This are my epilepsy medication

I dont know how long it takes tp get back to normal but 2 days off of them and im all over the place

Mines get back in like a day or so i take keppra 750mg 2 pills twice daily
