Does Anyone Have Mesial Temporal Sclerosis From Temporal Lobe Seizures?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

My doctor just told me that she thinks my severe anxiety for days after a seizure is due to sclerosis affecting the hippocampus. If my MRI shows that this is true, I'm wondering how it's dealt with. I know brain surgery is an option. But for now, I'm just hoping that my new medication, Lacosamide, paired with the Lamictal stops my simple partial and complex partial seizures. Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated.
