Has Anyone Had Any Problems With Kidney Stones And Epileptic Medications?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have now had two bouts of kidney stones in the last few years. The last time I had 5 at one time. The one medication Toprimate it is a side effect of the medication. Just wondered if anyone has had any experiences???

I just got informed. My kidney is not healthy, my liver is getting bad to Depakote, snd my gallbladder is probably going to be removed. Why is it, we take meds for epilepsy, and our organs pay for it. And to top it iff I cant drive anymore. So how do I get a job. 😢

I have. I think I was on Zonegran and I was on it for about 3 years and one of the side effects is possible kidney stones. I started to experience it and had to change meds
