How well does the RNS work? Were meeting with a surgeon about the VNS, RNS, or a 3rd surgery

I have VNS. Unsure about RNS. I assume it's about the same. A wire is wrapped around a nerve in the neck. Sends electrical stimulation into the brain on a rotation. The doctor can adjust the minutes between rotations, etc. The more recent ones also monitor your heart rate because our heart rates spike right before a seizure :)
