A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is having gum issues a side-effect? My gums seem to be slowly swelling and going over my teeth.

My suggestion would be is to ring your epilespy nurse soon as you can and tell them what side effect your having as they are the one who can decide if you need different tablets

Thank you so much Margery.. This is very informative, I will definitely look into this.. I only stopped brushing because my gums bled so much, I would have never thought that by keeping to brush would strengthen my gums 🤔.. Thank you so much 😊

Thank you Margery. I was going ask another question regarding this issue, maybe you might have a little info.
My gums are very sensitive causing them to bleed when ever I brush, is there something I can do about this? (I know I need to be asking my doc or dentist about this, I just thought you might know anything about this) Thank you 😊
