Grand mal seizures are the same as tonic clinic. I’m seeing a neurologist next week and am interested in the fastest most effective medicines that have worked for those with the same issue.
Hi I just got approved for my medical marijuana card for epilepsy and I have no idea how to use it for medical purposes. Does anyone else use it? And what do you use Capsules, flower, extract etc. And what strain/percentage of thc to cbd?
I have been taking Epidiolex, which does not have the THC in it. I know the dose I am taking. That makes me feel better.

My doctor has tried signing me up for the new Epidiolex CBD Oil. I have questions on these topics. Have any of you tried the new Epidiolex and haven't or had any seizures while taking this? What is the difference between this specific "Epidiolex" and other CBD Oils that could be offered?

I've been taking 600mg Zonisamide and 6mg Fycompa for a few years and still having seizure from time to time. A month ago I added .5 CBD oil in the am and pm. It had been 6 weeks ALL GOOD but then I had another seizure!!! Does that mean the medical marijuana isn't working?
As an addendum... I am still on keppra and gabapentin but much, much smaller amounts! I am also off 5 other prescription medications I was on for pain and autoimmune disorder.
I know I ask the most acquired and random questions lol. Its just that marijuana is the only thing that controls my seizures and the only part about it is I hate the high part. Im just wondering if I can find something that just has CBD in it if thats the part that controls our seizures.
Has anyone who ordered online actually researched the company prior to placing the order with them? What was your experience?

Hello Everyone,
I would like to know if any of you use marijuana instead of medication. Do you feel stoned and unable to do your daily things? I was diagnosed with epilepsy November 2022. I have tried 5 different medications and now the Dr wants me to try another. I can not stand the way they make me feel!

Yes, you have to get it from a medical Marijuana place that way they know what you need to not make you paranoid or in the couch not being able to get chores done.
