A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

When I was little I was diagnosed with dyspraxia,as I got older I outgrew it(at least I think) and I read that it can be linked to epilepsy. Mine is hormonal so I don't know if it's connected but just out of curiosity I'd like to know if it could be

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member is correct with too many ifs. Apraxia or form of dyspraxia is the brain's inability to properly control the mouth and tongue to pronounce words as desired. It can be similar but not the same as aphasia, saying a word different from thought or seizure restricting use of jaw and mouth.
The dyspraxia is in the brain, which may correlate to some individuals having seizures, but not really creating the seizure.

Mine started my first period & they thought when my puberty was done it would stop but my tremors got worse so I decided on surgery & it was seizure-free for 5 years to the day & then started grand mal seizures.
