When I was little I was diagnosed with dyspraxia,as I got older I outgrew it(at least I think) and I read that it can be linked to epilepsy. Mine is hormonal so I don't know if it's connected but just out of curiosity I'd like to know if it could be
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member is correct with too many ifs. Apraxia or form of dyspraxia is the brain's inability to properly control the mouth and tongue to pronounce words as desired. It can be similar but not the same as aphasia, saying a word different from thought or seizure restricting use of jaw and mouth.
The dyspraxia is in the brain, which may correlate to some individuals having seizures, but not really creating the seizure.

dyspraxia is gross or fine motor coordination and it is common at any age. the dyspraxia is unknown. they think its the way messages from the brain are transmitted to the body are disrupted.
so yes but its a long shot between dyspraxia and seizures connected. it too many what ifs.

Mine started my first period & they thought when my puberty was done it would stop but my tremors got worse so I decided on surgery & it was seizure-free for 5 years to the day & then started grand mal seizures.
Anything neuolgical could cause a strok could meningitis can most types off brain related brain thing might cause epilepsy
