I have seen several people that are diagnosed with multiple disorders in this site. I have recently been told that my RF levels are above normal. I am being referred to a rheumatologist. Is there anything that could make it look like my level was higher than expected? RF is short for rheumatoid factor.
My other half has psoriatic, rheumatic, and osteo forms of arthritis. With replaced knees, and joints not working, a specialist has been seen for years. The x-rays, blood tests, and opthamologist exams in relation to medications are 2 to 4 times a year.
My arthritis and bursitis are at a much lower level. You appear to be headed in the correct direction. Ask the rheumatologist to understand the RF factor. Put your questions together, before seeing the specialist.
Hey i just googled that and it's actually a few things that could make it spike. Autoimmune disorders among them.
I have a friend who has that. She's not epileptic but is in the process of getting it taken care of. I can ask her and let you know.
I read in the Journal of Neurology that the Dutch were having success treating Epilepsy like an autoimmune condition which is along the lines of RF
I know this was posted forever ago, however i just saw it. I have RA and Fibro, chronic Migraines, and currently being tested for EOE as well as otger lovely stuff but those are wonderful autoimmune stuff im dealing with. I wondered if all the pain would cause the seizures. Ive had epileptic and non epilectic seizures. My body is just trying to kill me lol
