I have one. Professionally trained. Not from an agency that raises and trains.
Not sure how a dog would respond to and absence seizure. I have them.as well. My dog doesn't care. My child and wife, they catch me having them, or I just realize I am really confused for no reason.
The dogs are Seizure Response Dogs and are trained to help protect you from injury while having a seizure. Roll you off back to side, stay against back, defend you if in public, help you up when you are able, and assist with mobility if pills make you off balance.
If the dog is a natural alerter- GREAT!!!!
You have a Seizure Alert Dog! And can also be trained as a Seizure Respinse Dog (or not).
The Govt says one job isn't enuff to go in out in public.
Positive vibes your way- Jeff
Always welcome.
Thanks Jeff
