My fiance took vimpat and it seemed to do well until we started to notice the side effects were greater and he would have less grand Mal seizures but when he did they were big and he would be bed ridden for a few days. We slowly winged him from it and went without any medication and all major health side effects slowly decreased to not at all and he only had a seizure maybe 1 or 2 times s year to now sometimes he can go the whole year with none at all, unless stress induced. But like most people say everyone's chemical balance is different. I hope the medicine work well for you 😊

I've never taken it, but it could be the temperature change that is adding to the cause of the seizures.
I know that getting overheated can be a trigger for me sometimes.
You could try to take cooler showers or simply wait until after you shower to take it.

No it worked well for me for a while but not anymore while I was on it I had no issues which is rare for me because I am allergic to almost every seizure medication. Even those most are't.
