It is the body exhale all the air that happens as you go into the fit

I am on vimpat. I do breathe heavy before my seizures its all part of having a seizure.

I was put on vimpat an have not been bad since but feel short of breath sometimes seen the doctor he told me it is a very small panic attack’s that I keep thinking about going into a fit in the back of my head

All drugs have a side effect but they can have a different effect on different people I was told by a top doctor that tegratol can only be taken for 7 years then it starts too poison your blood system I was on them for over 20 years I took really bad an the hospital told me it was them tablets had been poisoned my system

My symptoms are very similar...sometimes I'm not sure if I'm having a seizure or I'm about to have one. I tried Vimpat but it made me feel like I was overdosing. Hated it, changed to lamotragine. Better but not great...
