I use to work for my parents company doing construction work until my first episode I had at work I went running off on to incoming traffic then almost into a pit ..
with my episodes it take half a second for me to be fun then go straight into it where I’m completely out of it I black out I have no memory of that’s happened sometimes I speak but it’s just random shit then coming out of it take a good 5 minuets to be able to talk again and remember where I am and what just happened

I quickly get up and sort of float to the toilets where I sit with my head in my hands for 5 mins or until it passes.. then I suppose I just force myself back out there :( its hard. if I get a seizure on the phgone I cant speak.. my seizures affect my memory and speech so it is very difficult but im winging it and its working out so far.,. what do you do?

I have intermittent FLMA. It is only a certain amount of hours per 6 months. I have to have the papers filled out every 6 months. So aggravating. Like it will go away. Should be some way to continue it without having to go through hoops. Everything has to be just so or they won't accept it. But at least if I have to leave because I have a seizure it won't jeopardize my job.

Also make sure you are working for a good company who knows about your Epilepsy and understands how much time you need off, if you do need a lot of time off you can go to you doctor and get a Sick note xxx
