I take Vimpat plus Clobazam and Fycompa...no negative effects here...just dizziness at the beginning.

I have been on Vimpat for 4 years, and have had no psychiatric side effects at all. The medication has helped me a lot however.

Thanks. A new neurologist gave me her opinion that the result of Vimpat would be a bit of dizziness and I would have to have a small dose. This is cos I take a lot of Lamotrigine

I was going to go on Vimpat but it wasn't covered by my coverage at the time & now it should be but my neurologist didn't want to risk me going on it due to all my allergies to all the other epileptic medications. I'm on 3 medications for epilepsy & have 2 emergency medications for it also. I've heard on here some people have ha some bad side effects to Vimpat like almost death but everyone is different. I have Clobazam which also helps with Anxiety & same with my emergency pills which some people take daily.
