i'm feeling like i'm on my own but I like it
I go out to do the shopping and stuff but have detached myself from others i'd rather do my own thing in my own time and space I feel more in control of my life
Yes I do have friends but I don't really socialize with them as in going out down the pub (I don't drink) and have basically lost contact with them apart from when I see them in town.

thank you and Namaste to you as well
Yes I can relate. I'm trying to give myself a good push to get out there and enjoy life again. We can go to bars and enjoy ourselves without any liquor. My best friends also departed. Both gave me a strong eye opener and I said enough was enough, washed my hands. As for family, my brothers a politician. Both parents are deceased. As for the feeling of isolation, yes. But pushing myself little by little. If we don't we can put ourselves in depression. Was already there thanks to my soon to be ex, won't let it happen again. I was given an invite to go out with a few friends this weekend. Thinking of taking them up on the offer. If it still is fresh and new to you, that feeling, put it to a halt. Remember socializing gets our minds off a lot. No liquor needed to have fun. Life's what we make of it! Good luck! Namaste (yoga saying for inner peace and serenity)
I definitely get this feeling too. I'd say I've been this way the past 7 years, I used to live for the weekend beforehand. Drinking just bores me these days. Find it hard finding something to do with myself. It's good that you're enjoying your free space a lot, I hope that continues for you ♡
@AlisonHinde No not yet but it's on the books to do so
I've dealt with epilepsy basically on my own so I've got a bit independent.
I think it's my medication because this is so not like me attitude wise
Yes a lot of the time. it can be side effect of medication at times and at other not. Have you talked to anyone about it?
