I Do Not Sleep Anymore. I Am Up Tossing & Turning And On The Occasions That I Do Fall Asleep, If I Wake Up, I Will Not Fall Back To Sleep

I take 60mgs of Melatonin, and 150mgs of Tylenol PM & still will not sleep at night. I was tried on Ambien but I developed 'Sleep Eating' and then was tried on Trazadone but that affected my memory. During the day I get so sleepy I fall asleep when I watch tv, work at my desk, or at church. What can I do? This is so bad!

What seizure med are you on? I took Lamictal and I stopped sleeping. I tried Clonazepam to help me sleep, but doc did not want me on it. I ended up being pulled off of Lamictal. I still had seizures on it anyway. Some of these drugs cause insomnia. If it's that bad tell your neurologist you'd like to try another drug. That's too many sleep meds.

The epilepsy causes insomnia. That's one reason I take muscle relaxers and marijuana. That's the only thing that relaxes me and let's me sleep

Is there anything like
listening to music or
"?" that would help.

Medically they even have meds called
"muscle relaxants."
Of course it would be up to your Doc.
to decide!
