Unfortunately what the man said above is true. We had high hopes for the watch when we purchased it for our daughter and she didn't always have seizures with strong convulsions so it did not detect hers appropriately. And given that she was 3 at the time, there were a lot of false alarms due to her rowdy play times and that led to a lot of scared family members that were on the contact list.

Ann, It's called empatica watch- I just looked up epilepsy watch. 😏 It doesn't prevent or even alert you but will alert others

Yes. I mainly have grand mal. My parents live 3 doors down so it'd be nice knowing that they can come over when I have a grand mal (as gorey as it sound-so I don't bleed out) Is it worth it?

Yes . It’s the Empatica Embrace watch. . If you don’t have strong seizures like the Grand Mal , it probably won’t work. Well that’s what I’ve heard.
