Good luck, hope it goes ok, nothing worse than not knowing if something will affect your medication as consequences can be horrible.

thanks for the advice! (: yes I'm a bit nervous with the injection. ive been ok with the pill but isn't strong enough with tablets. i'll check my doctor, thanks again (:

I have had the contraceptive injection a number of years ago (not sure of name) while taking tegretol (carbamazepine) and seizure frequency did not change. I would speak to dr though as I know some hormone based contraceptives can affect certain anti convulsants. I took the pill for about a week before I had a seizure when I’d not had one for over a year, so I was quickly taken off it and had the coil instead.
