Does Anyone Know What Generalised Epileptogenic Dysfunction Means?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had a EEG after a bout of headaches and dizziness. The diagnosis is Generalised Epileptogenic Dysfunction. I live and work abroad and am currently unable to get a second opinion.. because I cant quite believe I have Epilepsy..
If anyone can share their information with me, I would be appreciative.

Who ever told you that have Generalized Epileptgenic Dysfunction , dose not know a lot about Epilepsy.

It would make more sense that they said that you have Generalized Epilepsy or Generalized Seizures.
I did some research on the Dysfunction you mentioned above through different epilepsy website. There was no results for it . But when I typed in Generalized Epilepsy, it explain about Generalized Seizures. I think your Dr. Needs to go back to school .
