Has anyone taken one of these meds for left temporal lobe epilepsy, what have been your side effects? Have you had success?
At the moment I am on Keepra 1250mg and Clobazam 20 mg (25 mg around my prd) This year I have had an increase of complex partial seizures (from 1 a year to 3 a year); I normally have about 5-9 simple partial seizures a month; around my ovulation and period
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I am on the same combo except not topiramte; wondering if that helped in anyway?
I’ve taken both, it’s on an individual basis however, neither worked for me in the end but tegretol is the better one of the two
Best thread. I get such bad absence/ night seizures around my period so am on the Keppra/ clobazam combo but with topiramate- do you find it messes with your memory?
Neither...was on both but needed to change meds due to side effects and becoming tolerant to the meds.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I had a lot of stomach issues, then the longer i was on it double vision came, lot of muscle problems, I then started having eye problems my corner eye always looked like i had pink eye. My head always seemed foggy like thinking wise. I would get emotional alot. I was on carbamazepin/tegretol for 40 yrs. So it took a toll on me.
