Pins And Needles
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Im always waking up with pins and needles its been every morning for the last week or so? Anyone else experienced this? And what do they do about it? How long does it last? Mine would last a few minutes. Mainly in my feet.

I had the same issue! I was walking around stomping trying to get my limbs comfortable, I don't tolerate meds well. Topamax it's cousin did the Same thing to me as well, However more tolerable because I was never hungry, and lost 60 pounds on one summer, not exactly healthy but made me feel better about the awful side effects!

Pin and needles for me are due to Toparimate as long as i keep me feet warm they dont happen. When my feet are cold it gets bad. I sometimes put the heating pad on feet. Sleep with warm footies even in summer when the air is on.
