I take it for both
I was perscribed klonopin after I began having seizures in my sleep, which seemed to help very well. However, after my surgery the medication didn't work the same as it had prior. I became very emotional, easily upset or angry, withdrawn from family and friends and additional negative behavior. After several months of this I decided to stop taking the medication. I wouldn't advise that to anyone and shouldn't have done it myself as well. I endured approximately 2 weeks of withdrawal hell, for lack of better words, but I did feel more like myself and easier to live with afterwards.
Thanks for answering. I am not a candidate for surgery b/c my seizures travel across brain hemispheres. Yay!
i take keppra and phenobarb for about 15+ years and i am good. i used to have 1 seizure every hour. now its 1 every day. i also had surgery and that cut the seizures from grand mals to auras.
Do you take it for seizures or anxiety? I am still having complex partials so it was added. It does work when I take it. I'm just afraid to stay on it b/c it's a benzo. Do you find it addicting? Thanks for your help!!
