Hi guys. I just started the ketogenic diet, per the doctor request to help with epilepsy, and I’m really nervous that I’m actually going to gain weight instead of losing it. Did anyone else who did this fell this way? How did it turn out for you?
it was great. i was on the strict keto for about 5+ years, i loss a ton of weight, my seizures went down, and my face was clear. in the beginning it will be rough for about a week or so. i am still on a loosely base keto diet.
the keto diet consist of starving for a day. then a strict or loosely base diet. the only difference between the 2 is one is drs orders and the other one is you. the only down side is you cant cheat. if you do you have to start all over again.
MJ and THC oils work great.most of the food I already eat Nothing in the keto diet ever stopped or slow down my seziures. I still use the keto diet and until I started using the oils I had plenty of seziures.
SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WEIGHT GAIN and diet!
One characteristic of going into a high-fat diet. (NATURAL FATS !!) is that your appetite will be more adjusted and better tuned [or how should I say it?]. Ever since I've adjusted my diet and including more fats, I don't quite remember what it's like to be really hungry.
AVOID SUNFLOWER OIL!! One of the main characteristics of sunflower and vegetable oils is that they are all Omega-6 oils, which is the root cause of inflammation and obesity. This is one major 'mistake' of today's typical diet in the modern world today; Too much Omega-6 and too little Omega-3 fatty acids.
Omega-3 is abundantly found in fish.
Interestingly; OLIVE OIL is abundant in Omega-3
So, in conclusion. It's sunflower oil and other similar vegetable oils, which are really making you fat.
Lost all unnecessary body fat. Put me at 22% BMI back to a 32 inch waist like I was in high school!!!! Yahoo!
only water weight. when you get ketosis you are always in starvation mode
