@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I wasn't under the influence of alcohol or anything lol.
Just like to set and achieve awesome goals.
My current one is overcoming the concentration/memory issues whilst on the journey to get into University to study dietetics and become a dietician. This was inspired by the modified ketogenic diet that I'm on 😃

Normal is so boring... give me a fun challenge or crazy goal!
I just noticed actually my profile picture was from when I was on the way to Tough Mudder (10 mile obstacle mud run) this year. I was raising money for Epilepsy Action :D.
Epilepsy will not beat me. I will do anything I want to do, even if I have to find a slightly different way to achieve my goal... that goal is getting smashed!

I have some challenges, but this is my normal. I don’t really remember being anything different. Guess that’s a gift in and of itself.

Kind of. It’s the side effects of the meds that I have to deal with every day. Every epileptic is different. I’m a little jealous of me brother-in-law. His is totally different than mine. And he doesn’t deal with the side effects I face every day. No memory and no sex. But I always think about how lucky I am compared to others out there.
