When I was on Topiramate my hands would tingle and go sort of numb. I called the doctor and found out that it was an interaction with the drug and meant I was low on Potassium. The answer was to take potassium regularly as a supplement and always have a banana on hand. 🙂

I find this happens to me one or two days before rain. Diagnosed with arthritis unfortunately one there is no medication for, live on Deepheat and pain killers. Hands end up looking like witches hands. Mention to your GP he may be able to blood tests and X-rays to see if this your problem. I think mine is worst because of meds taken for epilepsy but GP says not related. Hope this may help.

sounds like an aura i have had my lips burn like they had pepper on them. what may be an aura to one may be a full blown seizure to another. i have had 100's of auras, a wave passing through my head. less than a second. i know they were auras because i have had same feeling and wind up in hospital. hospital was not necessary stupid people!

I still think the migraines are a result of smaller break thru seizures. My head feels like it's going to explode after 2-3 seizures. Imitrex and maxalt (migraine meds) don't even phase it. I have to take an Ambien or clonapin to knock me out and sleep the pain off. I hate it the most!
