Tingling In Face After Seizure ?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

My face has started to get super tingly around the same time at night every night , but it was only after a big seizure I had a few weeks ago . Has anyone had a similar experience and know what this is ?

I had the eye twitch too, for years. It has gone away and I’m hoping won’t come back.

I've been experiencing a similar thing to you.
Had a what for me was a big seizure three or four weeks ago now - these tinglings started a week ago (possibly around the time of a small increase in the dose of zonisamide I was taking). They are confined to my right cheek... feel similar to the sort of eyelid twitching that lots of people (including those without epilepsy) often get when tired, only they're not!

I just remembered my left upper eye lid will droop hard to keep open at the same time as tingling. I don't know why if anyone has experienced similar I won't feel so 😜

Yes the tick well it's more than a tick the corner of my mouth and will sometimes move up to the cheek. I don't bother telling my neurologist. I know he will take it seriously but I don't want him to know.

I also get a tick, like a vibration under one eye, that I can’t control. Sometimes above my lip. Seems to come on when I’m tired and stressed. Drs shrug it off. Anyone else experience that?
