A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

i know this isnt about epilepsy but i still dont really understand my brain injury and would love to connect with people who have brain injuries also. this site has been really helpful for me to understand and talk to people with epilepsy so i want to do the same thing for my brain injury.

Hi Sarah,

There is a brilliant group called ‘Headway’ who are an excellent group - www.headway.ie

Check them out?

Good luck,

Hugs,
MarkC

PS: ABI - is an Aquired Brain Injury

Sarah, I dealt with Headway years back and they were very beneficial and was only in touch with them a week or two back to see if they would like me to do a feature/article on them on my own website which is being redeveloped at the moment by a company here in Dublin. You can still see the old format up but am confident that the new site will be much better. I want people to focus on what they have the ability to do than inabilities- hence the name - www.Ability2.org. I’m fed up being labeled as DISabled and want to show up those who think they are above me. I have met some amazing people with a diverse range of disabilities who do not allow them to hold them back. They’ve been an inspiration to me - they will be up on the new site once it takes its new format. Hope you like it. Will let you know when the new site goes up but until then you can see some of my artwork and design on it till it’s rebuilt.
Talk2u soon,
MarkC

So if you would like to talk I'm available. There might also be support groups around where you live., if you want face to face support. Surf the net. As I said I'm here. You could go to my fb and use messenger. Either way as I said I'm here❤️
