Like Stacy3 said, it's a warning signal you may or may not go into a seizure. The auras I had felt like a severe gas pain in the pit of my stomach and/or an out-of-body experience.
I've had four of them today
I also get deja vu- happened yesterday- but did not have a seizure. It's interesting to know that others also have an aura that is deja vu.
So iāve been diagnosed with Epilepsy since age 12. Started at night and then it switched to day time (partial) as i grew older i got a little more familiar with it when i would get Auras . my Auras are i feel a sense throughout my body . This year i started getting auras through my vision. i canāt explain it all i can say is i can feel it when itās coming but donāt feel numbness on my left arm (which is my partial seizure coming) itās a sense of feeling trough my vision and i get a little dizzyā¦ read more
I am glad that you have the happy present after the complication from your epilepsy mutating.
Whatās odd is, it seems like itās some kind of seizure, but I actually havenāt had a single one all day. So Iām wondering if the food I had affected something.
Interesting symptom.
Time distortion, unresponsive with or without loss of bladder control, starring off...
Thanks , I sure appreciate your sharing. I saw a new Neurologist cause mine retired and she made me feel like I don't know anything.
What is the difference between an aura and a petit seizure. When I have an aura in which can last for hours I feel like a riot is going on inside me. People have told me to say something. I don't always have a seizure. I don't want to be the boy that cried wolf all the time.
Thank you everyone for your patience with me. I am new on this on line and I don't know what I'm doing all the time.
Hope and pray everyone has a great day.
It's all confusing particularly when different doctors call it different seizures. I hope you get as much out of this group as I do. Everyone is so helping and brings a bit of humor, spiritual andā¦ read more

So, just for interest sakeā¦
Most of us write about our experience with dĆ©jĆ vu as a sensation/aura, but Iām interested in who else experiences or heard of the other two French terms? Presque vu and Jemais vuā¦
Presque vu is quite common - itās the ātip of the tongueā phenomenonā¦ you know you know something, but canāt remember what you know
Jemais vu, meaning ānever seenā - the phenomenon of experiencing a situation that one recognises in some fashion, but nonetheless feels very unfamiliar. I getā¦ read more
Now and then, my opinion
My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy in May 2019, her first seizure was in October 2017. She has focal epilepsy that results in hand twitches. She has had two grand mal seizures. A few questions....since her first seizure she has had a constant low grade headache. She says it feels like her brain is too big for her head. Does anyone else feel this? She is also constantly fatigued. No matter how much sleep she gets she is still tired. What can help this? On her last EEG in Octoberā¦ read more
Sorry to hear but the right person to talk to about this is her specialist. He should be able to answer your question if he canāt or wonāt ask to talk to someone who can help you understand. Hopingā¦ read more
