EMG Test
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have to have an emg for my carpal tunnel in my wrist. I take medicine for epilepsy. I haven't had a seizure for 30 years. Will an emg cause a seizure

No, I just had the test done yesterday. It was annoying, more than anything. Like someone pinching you hard. If you have ever had estim done, it felt like the electrodes were cranked up to high.

They were looking at me for carpal tunnel and neuropathy - I tend to sleep with my wrists in a hard flexion or extension position
