^ I forgot Vimpat can cause double vision/dizziness.
The d.vision has happened after seizures only, bit of random dizziness though.
Going through my logs first d.vision appeared after increasing Vimpat dose.
Last time this occured I was not in a safe place, vision blown out and dizzy, feeling like I was really drunk ... took some effort getting out of that one.

That's not always an easy answer. It could be both your meds or your Epilepsy. The best thing to do is, research on your meds. I do my searching on www.drugs.com , when I want to know the side effects.

I take vimpat. And trileptal. The combination caused double vision. My neurologist has me take a smaller dose in the morning and then in the afternoon. It helped so much.

I take the Vimpat with Keppra, and Carbamazepine ER, and at times I do be walking off balance and I have short term memory loss.

I myself didn't have ant luck with Vimpat. I was on it before my one month was over ( Vimpat ) and I was almost weened off the meds they were taking me off of. It had first started having minors struggles in balancing when walking. When I was nearing my full dose , my balance got harder and harder to manage. My last week on it I was off my old meds and on the full dose of Vimpat. Later in that day I had taken my evening meds. I was watch tv with my family and I got up to do something. The next thing, I find myself on the floor . I tried getting up from my collapse, I couldn't do anything. I was feeling very overdosed. So I crawled my way into my bedroom and climbed into bed to lay down. I took one look 👀 up towards the ceiling and my whole room felt like it was spinning. I had to close my eyes to stop the feeling. My wife calls a nurse hotline to get advice and they told her to stop taking the Vimpat and go back on my old dosage with the other meds. The next day I felt much better
