8 Months After Brain Injury And On Keppra But I Still Feel Like I Can't Think Right And I Try To Act Normal
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I focus too much on things and I'm tired a lot. I don't know how I'm too feel or if it is normal. I do have memory problems a little, but do y'all try to act normal or like you were before?

I had the same surgery you had. I found in the beginning writing things down helped me to prevent a lot of confusion. In the beginning I wrote down what some would consider a bit strange. When I ate I wrote it down and what I had. Over many years my brain has adapted and no longer do I have to do this. Hugs to you.Wendall@

I have a serious traumatic brain injury to the back of my head & the front of my head and my short term memory is shot completely. I feel like a 90 year old in a 53 year old body which actually my injury took place when I was 45. I can’t remember anything short term as hard as I try too. It is what it is. I just don’t pretend anymore. I just tell people straight up. There’s no use in pretending or lying. My neurologist mentioned to me prescribing keppra is this a good medication in your opinion??? I had to split my dose in half because I felt like a zombie taking the full 500mg pill
