I take Kloppin to help me with my anxiety and depression too, though Effexor is my primary antidepressant. I have a quite a few multipurpose medications, with the most frequent part of multipurpose meds is anticonvulsant to assit my primary anticonvulsant (Tegretol). Of course, antidepressants and medications to help with anxiety and mood cannot do the work alone. You should be seeing a psychiatrist or psychotherapist regularly to help to reduce your stress level by venting to a professional. It is only with this combination that I have gotten a level of control preventing me from getting into the dangerous deep depression (where suicidal thoughts would become a factor) and rarely staying down very long (this fall was one of those exceptions). However, even with the worst of the low this fall, I did not have a single seizure and my medications often prevented full auras (Simple Partial Seizures) or at least blocked them to only partial auras. December is usually my most stressful month, but December 2016 was the best December that I can remember ever having (not only no seizures but also only a couple of aura days). I hate the side effects of all of these medications (especially the cummulative side effect of obstructing memory recall), but it is much better than having the seizures.

I am on Keppra two pills in the morning and two at night. 750 mg. In all I take about 3000 mg a day. As far as Paxil I take about 40 mg at night. The combinations makes for a interesting day. As I say each day we take the could with the bad. Panics attacks still come and when they do I go to a room and try to calm down.
