Anxiety Meds
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have trouble sleeping and wake around 5 every morning. I take Keppra and propranolol but dr says I need anti anxiety meds but won't prescribe them. He says I have to go and see neurologist again to prescribe them, has anybody had this problem xx

You should see your dr and maybe he give you a scrip to help you sleep more at night and it helps people tell me but I dont need them good luck

I have epilepsy and anxiety, I was on Keppra and Zoloft. The Zoloft made me loopy but worked to keep my depression and anxiety calmed down.

I'm an early riser too! I take 1500mg of Keppra and 400mg of Dilantin per day. I find myself up at 5-6a.m.,and don't usually pass out until 11:30-12pm. It's not anxiety, just my pattern, if it was anxiety, the seizures would be worse!
