I have the vns stimulater already got it put in 08 I'm on the last medication I can take my seizures started getting worse over this summer now they want to put a responsive neurostimulation in my brain I've had several types of seizures since I was 12 have been battling it for 30 years has anyone else have this device and is it working and what is some side effects

Yes, I had the Neuropace RNS "installed" on Aug 24 2015. I had no problems at all with the surgeries. I was 48 when installed. I was blessed. The focal point was located on my hippocampus, but could not be removed because WADA showed that was the dominant area of my brain. We are still working on refining the settings for control every 3 months. I was seizure free for 3 months after surgery. Then came extreme stress with divorce and selling house and that, of course, triggers seizures, plus pre-menopause to add to problems. We will get there.
