Has anyone found that with continued seizures over the years their eyesight has got worse? (or is it just my age)

I may be lucky for sure but during my years as a man with epilepsy, I was a runner and would run 14 kilometers everyday for 12 years despite all the medication for seizures I was on and of course on many occasions I would have a seizure while running and have been driven home many times only to wait until the driver left and I would finish my run . Exercise sure helped to keep me focused and more aware than sitting and falling asleep all the time. I'm now 60 years of age and still walk 20 kilometers a day year round and the only difference is I don't have to worry about having a seizure because of my surgery 28 years ago.

I took a lot of seizure medications over the years and I'm 60 and still don't require glasses.

My eyes have gotten worse, but I was told its a side effect from meds almost every med causes some kind of vision problem. I get double vision all the time. It sucks, I am always tripping on things when walking in stores

Lamictal gives me very blurry vision any time the docs adjust the dosage. When I'm stabilized it's better but still fuzzy. Glasses help but don't fix my vision.

I've had glasses since fifth grade (early "70's) but the entire family has lousy vision. The last few years my vision has become noticeably worse. I can no longer read things on TV in the evening. I'm only 54 so I'm guessing that a lifetime of drugs and seizures may have something to do with it.
