My 33 yr old daughter has been put on this recently along with her long standing Dilantin and clonazepam aka klonopin. Can anyone tell me what it feels like like as she's nonverbal. Thank you !
I was on Dilantin,Tegretol and Clonazepam and I hated the sleepy side effects of clonazepam.and that feeling of being drowsy all day long. Once I had my surgery THAT was the first one I got rid of and I felt so much more aware for once in my life.
I was on Fycompa med about 3 years ago for a short time. I couldn't handle it due to the Side Effects. I was so un coordinated with my actions, and couldn't walk straight anymore when taking the fycompa. I would continually walk down the hall and walk into the walls and loose my balance. I told my Dr. What was going on and he took me off right away. The support of my family really helped my situation.
I got hives so have been diagnosed allergic to it but I remember the pain of the iv they gave me of it and now figure it was because my body was having an allergic reaction....Keppra is what I take now and it works so much better than anything else
Ty yes it's also used for anxiety and panic attacks which I'm on it for. Glad you could due without it!
Thank you wolf for letting me know. My daughter is non verbal and she's not able to walk anymore. They started her on 3mg.
