How Many Of You Get Tingling Numb Hands Feet Legs And Arms During Or Before Seizures Or Is It Due To Meds?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I get really tired in the late mornings and almost can't help myself from falling asleep sometimes it's before I have a seizure and one thing I've noticed is my hands and feet and lower arms and legs will go numb and tingle like falling aslleep with a little bit of tingling pain- I wonder how many people have this happen and if you know what it's from?

I know what you mean about these type of doctors. Some of my neurologists have been know it all jerks. Even though I knew my daughter was a triplet the hospital played "know it all" during the pregnancy they didn't believe me about the babies until my daughter was delivered and they found her brother and sister all I got was "we apologize for not believing you." Unfortunately I lost her brother and sister but some doctors are know it alls. All they say is "take your meds so you don't have a seizure and hurt your daughter, or after my kids were delivered I got "here is another medication for your seizures go relax."

I feel like I'm a ginuea pig to experiment on. Which I don't like especially when it's a new doctor intern straight out of medical school who is using me as a guinea pig for their diploma. I can't remember all the bad side effects I have had due to these new medications. I hate feeling sleepy in the morning and have tingling because of seizures or meds or both.

Sometimes I get tingling in my fingers and arms and occasionally in my tongue. That is not from a pinched nerve it is an actual seizure.
