i HAVE ONE SEIZURE AFTER ANOTHER AND THEY DO NOt STOP WITHOUT MEDICAL INTERVENTION. i am a senior citizen now and am often injured during the seizures. I am on phenytoin, lamictal and klonopin. Obviously nothing is helping. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have any suggestions.

MrsKemsley, many thanks for your comment, I am still working on the book,m as it needs editing for spellings etc, I have gone into the inner problems that the public do not see. In the book, Joyce is so wild due to the way she has been treated, that only one person can deal with her, He is someone she had been teaching the guitar to, and when he comes to live at Windsor House, he becomes their base guitarist. He is a Jew, but with a distinct difference. He looks like Jesus Christ and behaves at times very much like him but keeps it under wraps, later on once Jake has died, he and Joyce develope a relationship, I cannot remember if I've told you about this allready. I've got eachchapter as a seperate file, and will at some point need to put all these together and number the pages, but I am not sure just how to do this,. I am still working on the illustrations, which means to do the cover next, I know with indi publishing one has to find a bar code etc.The computer part of this is difficult. Did I add you to my team?

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member to be honest Madeleine your book sounds great. One thing I would like to say is that if you need to get any extra information from the rest of us for your book I am sure we would be happy to help. One thing I would like to inform you about is that the DWP has decided to appeal against me winning my appeal to them. I can't believe it. Contact me if you want any information about the way they treat us because they just believe epilepsy is just fits and nothing else.

I agree to and many thanks. I am trying to write a book the setting of which is a hospital with an epilepsy unit, a very real place in South East London. The heroine has many feelings and moods due to the way she has been treated, and society has treated her. She meets a man of whom she is teaching the guitar, a band is formed, and through this I am talking about the in side story of epilepsy which never gets aired, some of the developement delay problems and so on that cause much axiety and how judgmental people have been as a result. Epilepsy is not just about having seizures. Mine is temproal lobe and seizures seem well controled, and I am thankful for this.Doctors feel some divinity is a part of it,but I am not so sure, when in the book, Joyce gets to know Joshua Bar Joseph. Joyce is a wild child a firey tomboy and only Joshua can bring peace to her tortured soul

I've heard this before about keppra, and like you, Shirey, I have got temporal lobe seizures, though I have been seizure free since 1990, thank God. Mine began when I was 18 and now I am in my early 70s. I have an oil painting I have done of the Lord Jesus on my bedroom wall, He keeps away the night terrors

I prayed for you at theprayer meeting this morning, Iknow what temporal lobe epilepsy feels like, though I have been clear for 25 years, but like thith you the scarey bit is that it could return without reason and I drive which I am thankful for. I hope and pray that it will get better again
