I wanted to know if anyone has had their neurosurgeon use ROSA to help in their surgery diagnosis? They want to use it to insert depth probes into my temporal lobe/amygdala to get more information about what they need to remove during the surgery. It's a robotic arm that doctor's use to improve side effects/recovery time for the patient. Did you have the surgery using the ROSA? My 20 year old son is having surgery in May. Did it work?

My surgeon used ROSA during two of my surgeries. He is not impressed as he prefers to do things "the old fashioned way". I do not know what the difference is between ROSA and being "old fashioned" either. That is all I know - the anesthesia did a good job.
