Does your nose bleed often? My Dad had bad nose bleeds but I can't say for sure that it was along side his seizures. Several years ago after having my first gum surgery & the right side of my face bruised I was diagnosed with a bleeding disorder called Von Williebrand Disease. My Mom says if I have it it's very mild cause I never had any problems in prior surgeries & I don't have nose bleeds. At my physical therapy the therapist does dry needling on me where she pokes my cheeks with a needle & she says I bleed more than her other patients. The doctor I see for this bleeding disorder said it's very likely I got it from my Dad. So you could by chance have that disorder. I now have to get a shot or use a nose spray before any surgery I guess so I won't bleed as much. It's an Oncologist who I see for my disorder. You can go to google & find information about the disease if you wish. Again, Von Williebrand Disease is the name. Hope this helps some. ALL of my seizures are followed by a migraine. I take Cambia for that. But I also found an over the counter med that I take on a daily basis MIGRALIEF that helps even more, it keeps the actual migraine from being very bad. They don't put me to bed for days at a time. With THE MIGRALIEF the migraine only last about 2-3 hours. PTL. My DR approved me using it.
