A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anybody go to support groups for epilepsy? Sometimes I feel so alone. I like that I'm treated "normal" but sometimes ppl forget I do have limitations.

Welcome Angie. When I was a teen , I was in a support group and went on camping events thru the Epilepsy Foundation. Being in the group helped me realize I wasn't the only one with this disorder. I learned many things through the staff and the many others who also have epilepsy. I made friends with a bunch of them . It helped me back on my feet and made it easier to cope with.
