I have always taken Epilim and when I was first put on it (medicine version) I had quite bad hair loss for a month or so. I have taken tablets for years now and my weight has gone up a fair bit, unsure if this is down to Epilim or just eating more/exercising less.

epilum (also called depakote, or valproic acid) caused weight gain and hair loss for me...both common side effects. I had severe tiredness due to drug interactions with carbamazepine (tegretol) and sodium phenytoin (dilantin). Do you know what your lab results are for drug levels? If the labs were on the high end it could be why.
