Medical Marijuana
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Medical marijuana is not legal in Florida, but I am curious as to what form it comes in. I don't like smoking of any sort and have never had the urge to do so. Is there a pill or liquid form? Also, those who have tried it, does it actually help? Do you have to take it along with antiseizure medication for it to be effective? Any input would be appreciated. :)

They do have mmj pills I haven't tried them yet there's all sorts of different things they have I use the lemon haze sativa I like it better than my seizure pills cause no side effects and it helps me I used to be at the hospital like a 2nd home now I go maybe once a month if that instead of 2-3 times a week with cluster grand mals so everyone has their own likes and dislikes if you look on leafly.com it has a bunch of info and strains and forms and what states have it and what not you can type in your symptoms to find one best for you or search for something that helps you or that will be better for you but you do have to have your dr fill out the application form to get the license for medical mj and u can talk with them about it and what they think my dr was very helpful and understanding and told me the benefits and said it doesn't hurt to try and then you can make a plan to come down in your meds if it does help and you don't want the meds with all the side effects I have to have both because I have intractable refractory epilepsy and i guess it means it's harder to control from what my dr told me I hate medications I was put on a new one for stroke and it has crazy side effects I still haven't taken it yet I'm nervous to take it I'm waiting to talk to my dr Tuesday to see if there's something else but I hope this helps have a good weekend and seizure free one tooπŸ˜‰

Back to the 70's when things were cool !

CBD an ingredient of Marijuana is LEGAL in all 50 States!~!! Easily found online. Smoking may be more enjoyable for some... It's Liquid Form, even though I believe a Doctor can Prescribe Pill format.

I do not substitute it for my meds but, I use it as well as other forms of therapy to reduce or ease some of the side affects of them. I do enjoy smoking it...but since it is not legal here when I am out in public I do use a vaporizer with the cannabis oil. I get all of my stuff from a friend who lives out of state, but I have heard this is a reliable site
