My neuro put me on this one just this week I haven't taken it yet since the pharmacy has a bit of a problem with my insurance and they don't usually receive that exact one at their pharmacy. He told me to start off week one with one capsule then week two with two capsules and then week 3 with three capsules and stay with three.
I started 2 tablets tonight I'm taking them at 8 or 7:50 ish, I'm super bipolar very very moody, my period makes it worse. This is my second week now starting today
I am on this have been for few years can't say my memory very good to be honest but drug has help I am on 200 mg twice a day
I been it for 2 weeks now. Doubling my dose tonite. So far just more forgetful. (Left phone at home, locked myself out of house and car) and lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Just not hungry. Doc said drink lots of water to prevent kidney stones.
He's in Miami Children's Hospital, Dr. Trevor Risnik he's a pediatric neurologist, he always answers my questions and he's always asking me questions, my insurance is Sunshine before I had United health care. I went to the Walgreens where they had sent my meds to which is like 2 blocks from my house but they don't take my insurance anymore so I had to walk to Navarro which across the street instead of walking to cvs it's by Westland mall 5-9 blocks away since Navarro takes cvs also I went there but they don't have zonigram so Monday I have to come back and hopefully they'll have it
Ya, I do, its the one with the least side effects for me. my main AED's are Zonegran, Lamictal, and clonazepam. And the VNS of course. Recommend to take the name brand for concecisty. Everyone's biology is different, so you might have to play around with the doses, and try different meds.Besides the insurance problems, what are your other problems?
I sometimes as the pharmacist about a drug if it looks different than another drug, but try to stick to the dose the nuro ordered for me. 1) what kind of nueo do you see? Does he explain or answer any of your questions? Move to another nuero or better yet an epileptic specialist. 2) who is your insurance company ? This should not be taken lightly. Change pharmacies or your insurance company. 3) the most attentive pharmacies are at the same dr's office or a personal company (no Walmart, CVS, etc)
