Do having big changes in your lives affect your seizures I've just started a new job and I hadn't had a seizure for at least two months three days into the new job I had one I was shocked and really embarrassed I don't know if it was the stress of the change or bad timing and I'm aprently having more vacancies

nervousness, anxiety, fear, and wanting acceptance. yes it's normal and I always expected it. almost every job I had a seizure either the first day or the first week. It's hard to go into a new place with new people and anxious about new surroundings and a little fear, it effects the part of the brain that this comes from. I always feared being fired right at the beginning if I had a seizure. I've had many, many jobs but not because I was fired, just never being stable for long. The last job I had 3 yrs ago was for almost 8 yrs and many many seizures, many times on the way to the hospital but was always accepted. Other things caused them, over tiredness and depending on the weather where you live, the heat brought them on and freezing temps.

The stress of a new job can definitely be a factor. Did it cause a change in your sleep habits? That could also be another factor. I would pay attention to what major changes in your life to do even the little things. There is a trickle down effect on your life. While the trickle may seem small, it can sometimes be those minor things that will knock our brains off kilter.

every first week of a new job would cause a seizure from the anxiety, fear, and stress. But it never stopped me from pressing on. I've only been 'let go' from one job in 40 yrs of seizures

Stress for sure as has already been said. Anytime my husband and I have a fight/argument will trigger me. Then he apologises for setting me off. Bless him.
