Has Anyone Ever Had Joint Pain From Taking VIMPAT?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I started taking Vimpat about 2 years ago. About two months later I started having joint pain. The joint pain has only gotten worse and spread. I don't know for sure if the pain is caused by the Vimpat or not, but has anyone else ever developed joint pain from taking Vimpat? I have no history of joint injuries or joint diseases in my family. I also take Oxtellar(trileptal)

That sucks. So when they took you off it did the joint pains improve or go away?

Yes - I had joint pain and muscle ache during the whole time I was on it. I think I was on it for about 15 months. It didn't help reduce my seizures so they took me off it. I was quite depressed and negative and gloomy while on it.
